Fine Art & Heirlooms · Shopify Storefront

A storefront selling a keepsake, not a product.

Kyra is a fine-art atelier that scans and sculpts a wedding dress into a plaster and stone heirloom. The brief was a storefront that reads like a private commission, walking a visitor through a process before it ever asks for a sale.

The homepage opens on a single dark, sculptural portrait with the wordmark dissolving in beneath it, "Begin Your Sculpture" as the only call to action. From there the site unfolds like chapters rather than pages: Capture, Translate, Reveal, each one framed as a step in turning fabric into an object, with the actual gowns and finished plaster pieces shown side by side instead of a product grid.

The contact page keeps the same restraint: a single emotional line, a short FAQ (how long a commission takes, whether the dress is kept, what sizes are available), and one booking action. Nothing about it looks like checkout, which is deliberate, this is a studio taking a limited number of commissions each season, not a store processing volume.

This is a Scale-built demonstration storefront, designed and developed end to end to show how we'd approach this category. It's not a commissioned client project, and we're not presenting it as one.
